Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

The short version: we do not collect your personal data. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers on this site or in our products. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is being collected.

Who we are

Jax Labs is a one-person independent software business. “We” means the individual operating this site. Contact us through a GitHub issue on the relevant product repository.

This website

Our desktop software

LidSound is a Windows application that runs entirely on your machine. It has no account system, and it makes no network requests after installation. The sound files you select for playback are read from your disk in place — they are never uploaded, copied, or transmitted.

If you activate a paid licence, the activation key you enter is verified locally against a public key embedded in the app. The verification does not contact us, and we do not receive your machine’s identity.

Our web tools

TypeFlow stores your imported word lists and your progress in your browser’s local storage (IndexedDB). This data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and clearing your browser data will delete it permanently — export anything you want to keep.

Payments

Payments are processed by Waffo (Merchant of Record), not by us. They collect the billing details needed to charge you and to comply with tax law. We receive confirmation of the transaction — typically your email address, the amount, and the order reference — and nothing more. We never see or store your full card number.

Waffo’s own privacy policy governs that processing: waffo.com

What we do receive

Only what you choose to send us: the contents of a GitHub issue, an email, or a refund request. If you email us your address, we will keep it as long as needed to answer you and handle any refund, and we will not use it for anything else.

Children

Our products are general-audience software and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Because we hold essentially no data about you, there is normally nothing to export or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, open a GitHub issue and we will tell you what it is and remove it.

How to reach us

Support and privacy requests: 445167248@qq.com. Bug reports are faster on GitHub Issues, but anything involving your data or a refund must go through the email address above.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the product’s public changelog.
